For ICAS coordinators

Register your school, choose how student registration is handled, and get ready for test day. Built for busy coordinators: skim the boxes, click through only where you need detail.

New to ICAS, or already registered?

If your school has never ordered ICAS before, start with the one-time registration step below.
If you already have a School Code and Password, skip ahead to "Every cycle: choose how you register."

Step 0 — Get your school set up (one time only)

First time ordering ICAS

Register your school

Fill in the school registration form — school details, principal contact, and the year levels you teach. This gives your school a unique School Code and Password, used to log in every year after.

Find your School Code

Forgotten your School Code or password? Don't register again — it creates a duplicate account. Contact Customer Service and we'll look it up for you.

Step 1 — Choose how you register

Every cycle, you'll choose how to run ICAS. Both options get every student into the same test — the difference is who pays, and how much manual work lands on your coordinator.

Shop (school-managed)

More control
How it works

Your coordinator logs in at eats.com.my/shop with your School Code and places one bulk order for all participating students.

Who pays

The school pays EATS directly, then may collect fees from parents separately, in its own way.

Student data entry

Your coordinator downloads an Excel template, fills in each student's name, date of birth and year level, and uploads it to the Assessments Portal.

Good fit for

Schools that want to control the whole process centrally, order in one batch, or prefer not to involve parents in an online payment.

Parent payment portal (PPS)

Less admin work
How it works

You give parents your School Code. Each parent registers their own child and pays directly at eats.com.my/pps/.

Who pays

Parents pay online themselves — no fee collection for the school to manage.

Student data entry

EATS enters the registered students' data into the Assessments Portal for you — your coordinator doesn't need to prepare or upload the Excel file.

Good fit for

Schools that want to hand off admin work and let parents register and pay directly.

Not sure which to choose?

Pick Shop if your school wants to manage payment and registration centrally.
Pick PPS if you'd rather parents handle their own payment and registration, and let EATS take the data-entry work off your plate. Either way, the same School Code from Step 0 is what you'll use — for the Shop login, or to give to parents for PPS.

Step 2 — Register your students

Follow the side that matches the route you picked in Step 1.

Shop route

  1. Order. Coordinator logs into the Shop and places the order for all participating students. Pay by online transfer, DuitNow or GIRO; upload the receipt in the Shop or email it to icas@eats.com.my.
  2. Enter student data. Download the Excel template from the Assessments Portal, complete it, and upload it. First name, last name, date of birth and year level are mandatory.
  3. Allocate test licences to each imported student in the Portal.
  4. Print student logins (one-time codes) once licences are allocated.

PPS route

  1. Share your School Code with parents, so they know where to register.
  2. Parents register and pay directly at eats.com.my/pps/, per child.
  3. EATS enters the data and allocates test licences on your behalf — no Excel file for your coordinator to prepare.
  4. Print student logins once students appear in the Portal.Coordinators should still check the Portal before test day to confirm every registered student appears correctly.

Step 3 — Prepare for test day

Work through this checklist ahead of the test window.

Confirm student login details are printed and ready.
Check devices meet technical requirements.
Assign teachers to supervise the test.
Run the technical readiness check.
Book a suitable room.
Confirm reliable WiFi access.

Step 4 — Take the test

On test day, the coordinator or a designated teacher logs into the Assessments Portal and supervised the test under normal exam conditions.

Step 5 — View results

Results and certificates appear online after the test window closes. Printed certificates and performance summaries follow by post.
